House of Vans
Last week my boys from my hometown of Orange County, CA came to visit for the Vans Longboard Contest in Montauk! Nolan (Vans), Akram (Jacks Surfshop), Alex Knost, Joel Tudor, and the rest of the Vans crew rolled deep to NYC. Vans rented out the whole Surf Lodge and took over all of Montauk. The waiting period for waves during the competition was 5 days. Andy Carlson guest announced the competition. To end their trip, Vans launched, House of Vans in Brooklyn. House of Vans is a massive 44,000 sq ft warehouse fully equipped with an indoor skate bowl and pyramids, with an outdoor skatepark. As we would say back home, "soooooo sicccccckkkk brah you don't even know". I was very impressed with the event, even if it was filled with a bunch of bros throwing shakas at each other. I felt like I was in Newport or Huntington Beach CA all over again. I wouldn't have changed one thing about the House of Vans launch, expect maybe sprinkled in a few models or two, since this IS New York. Everyone likes models, no?
The music lineup was insane. Open bar. Fully catered with pizza, burgers, chicken wings, fish tacos, etc. Just like an OC party should be, but just in New York!

September Fashion Week NYC
LnA held their Fashion Week presentation for the 2nd consecutive time at Milk Studios. We got there a bit late, but we heard one of the models fainted. The rough life of models during fashion week. We were impressed again with the LnA girls, Lauren, April, and Ashley. We love wearing their shirts, they're the most comfortable shirts and hoodies we own. Can't wait to see their leather jackets, I don't expect anything less than anything amazing from them. They have the most impeccable, comfortable, simple, chic line.

Fashions Night Out - OakNYC (Bond St)

This our very first post. We have been wanting to start a blog for a while now. Not because we are that cool or anything, but this is just a way for us to write down our thoughts, opinions, and our adventures. I say "our" because I have some crazy, interesting, retarded friends who are often going to help contribute to this blog. Retarded in a good, humiliating, funny way who are involved in fashion, parties, sexual activities, and debauchery. These are the downtown NYC kids, the.beautiful.kids. We just want to show you the.beautiful.kids private and sometimes not so private world. Not in a bragging way, but in a sharing is caring kind of way. We have no intention of offending or hurting anyone through this blog, but sometimes we will accidently cross that line. We apologize in advance.
