Last night Los Angeles was filled with some beautiful people. GUESS and Paper Mag threw the 14th annual Beautiful People Party at the Standard in West Hollywood. The open bar was sponsored by Svedka. As the drinks started flowing, the guest started dancing with a special performance by Keri Hilson!!

Beef between Katy Perry and Calvin Harris

There is some hate right now from Katy Perry fans to the amazing dj/producer Calvin Harris. After playing on the Rihanna tour in Australia, Calvin Harris was supposed to play some shows with Katy Perry, but Calvin Harris has decided to cancel. Katy Perry and her team allegedly wanted Calvin Harris to play off to the side and play for only 30 minutes. I guess Katy Perry doesn't know how big of a dj Calvin Harris is and how a production / longer set for Calvin would have made it better. I would rather go see Calvin Harris any day over Katy Perry. Calvin Harris +1, Katy Perry 0. Anyways, this is all just our opinion.

Here is the new trailer for the upcoming movie, Super 8. Caitriona Balfe will be in the film, which is directed by JJ Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. We can't wait!

ENK China is in full effect. Running simultaneously with Seoul and Beijing Fashion Weeks. The tradeshow has been a big success so far with tons of retailers and designers all attending. We look forward for the next ENK China already!!

Uncommon Creatures

One of our favorite lines, Uncommon Creatures, out of Copenhagen was started when one of two of its designers Jen Kold-Christensen (other designer is Christina Hojris Ottotsen) was sitting on the subway on the way to Brooklyn. A young orthodox jew stepped into the same car and Jen Kold Christensen could not stop staring at the young man's snake curls and huge black hat. The debut collection in AW '10 was inspired by Orthodox Jewish style. Uncommon Creatures is carried in a few places and one of them being one of our favorite stores, Paris Texas, in Copenhagen.

Such a rad cafe racer. All the popularity on the west coast on these cafe racer bikes and vintage bikes converted into hard tails or choppers will soon hit the east coast. We are looking for a few and hopefully a few others buy some in NYC so we can all ride. The bike is beautiful, and its a bonus to have a beautiful girl on there too!

Lazy Sundays at the Standard Pool Deck - Miami

Sebastian Puga, Tatanka, and the rest of the South Beach crew put together a Brazilian BBQ at the amazing pool deck at the Standard Hotel Miami. This hotel is by far our favorite. The view is absolutely amazing and one of the best views of the Miami sunset. Tatanka usually mans the bbq pit, while bartenders serve delicious drinks for cheap. Yachts pull in and out of the dock at the Standard while beautiful kids drink, eat, and sunbath the lazy Sunday away. Dexter Love, Sebastian Puga, and Florencia Galarza dj'ed during WMC weekend.
