Daria Werbowy and The New York Times went to St Barths for a shoot and to showcase the sailor side of Daria. Everyone knows Daria is a supermodel, but only a few know that she is an avid sailor.

“Werbowy loves the sea as much as the sun — a few years ago she took a break from modeling and sailed across the Atlantic from New York for 24 days with her father, brother and sister. A few days after our shoot, she would be embarking on a two-month sailing expedition from Guatemala to Belize, island hopping along the coast, then traveling through Central America to Costa Rica. There would be no staff, no captain, no chef, just a few friends and family members. Werbowy would do it all: sail, steer, clean and cook. “Daria can morph into so many different things,” Bird says. “She’s tough as nails.”

Met Ball / Spring Fling

Everyone is excited about the Met Ball tonight, but Saturday Harry Josh and Nur Khan threw their 10th anniversary of their Spring Fling, the pre-party for the Met Ball, at Hiro Ballroom. Everyone was in attendance, Gisele and Tom Brady, Jay Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Ashley Olsen, Eva Mendes, Mickey Rourke, Joe Marino, Chet Dillon, were all just a few of the tons of celebs that made an appearance. Tonight we can't wait to attend the Met Ball, but we are more excited about the after party, which we unfortunately can't leak the address. Look for hints later today...
