Deitch Projects (Bowery and Houston Wall)

The wall behind the Deitch Projects Gallery was changed today. I always love walking by this wall. It always puts a smile on my face. Here are a few pieces that have been on the wall this year.

Shepard Fairy's May Day, Deitch Show

I don't know who this artist was but it was the most recent piece on the wall

Walking home today I saw that they had this up on the wall. My friend John Swiatek posted this pic on his facebook.

LnA

I was talking to my favorite CA girl today and decided to check out her company, LnA, clothing. Her sister Lauren is the designer with her partner, April. My LnA shirts and hoodies are super comfy and chic. Someone once told me, "Yeah I love LnA, they're like American Apparel" and my response was "... that's like saying, 'yeah I love my leather jacket from Top Shop, it's just like Rick Owens'". Well obvi the latter in both statements are both non comparable to what they were being compared to. Duh!

Speaking of leather jackets, rumor is that LnA will soon have some amazing leather jackets available. Madonna was already spotted wearing one!

On their site today I saw this video and the first thought that popped in my head was Gareth Pugh!

Here are some pics of fall 2010. They are in stores now! I wanted to put these pics up because this is Ashley and Lauren's little sister as the model. All 3 sisters work with LnA in one form or another. Gorgeous genes in this family! Hopefully they start making some clothes for their dog Samson, so I can get some LnA clothes for my puppy. They will be the most stylish dogs around.

The Underbelly Project

"In 2009 a project began four stories underneath the skin of New York. For 100 years, a amassive subway station sat unfinished, unused, undiscovered. Over the course of the last year, artists have been secretly escorted into that station to leave their creative mark. Unobstructed by the pressures of commercial sales, email, or daily routines, each artist painted for one full night. The original entrance has since been removed and darkness has reclaimed the station. It has become an elusive pirate treasure of contemporary art." - Welcome to The Underbelly Project

Kid Cudi at BAPE NYC

Kid Cudi - Man on The Moon: The End of the Day is in stores today. I got to preview this about a week ago and I must say that I do like the album. I just couldn't believe today how many people showed up to the Bathing Ape store in Soho located at 92 Greene St NYC to purchase the album and a limited t-shirt. It's a beautiful day outside today people, purchase the album on iTunes and go enjoy the day! Duh!

There was atleast 400 people in line consistently throughout the day!
That's dedication from Kid Cudi fans!
